Regular water supply facility

Financial assistance was provided to Shishugreh, Guwahati through the repair and reconstruction of an existing well (2012-13). SESTAA did not support the use of a deep tube well as it was noted that the ground water at Guwahati and in its surrounding area may not be fit for human consumption. The well was repaired and reconstructed by replacing the old pipe line, installing iron removing filter and a new pump, which is now a source of regular water supply to the centre (SESTAA, Oct 2013).
