SESTAA receives thankyou letter

The Secretary of SESTAA, Smita Sabhlok, has received a letter of thanks from one of our charitable partners in India.

Written by Sailen Das, of the Children Development Centre (his organisation is named in the local language as 'Shishu Vikash Kendra'), the letter mentions the disability centre established in January 2015 and states that activities are "continuing smoothly".

Mr Das says that the "programme has yielded very good result to a very sizeble number of [physically and mentally retarded] children [from] the entire lower Assam District including part of Meghalaya".

Mr Das closes the letter with a request to SESTAA to continue funding:

"Parents and guardians of the disable[d] students requested us to continue the programme for a couple of years in the interest of these special categories of children. Therefore I would like to request you cordially to take such action to continue the programe at least for another couple of years, or permanently if possible".

Make a donation to SESTAA, attend our upcoming movie night or become a member to enable the continuation of valuable projects such as the disability centre in Goalpara, Assam, India.
